As Design Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the design process from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring all design information is coordinated, compliant, and aligned with the construction programme. Key responsibilities include: Managing the design process across all project stages
Coordinating consultants, architects, and specialist designers
Reviewing and managing design information, drawings, and specifications
Ensuring design compliance with building regulations and employers requirements
Working closely with construction, commercial, and client teams
Identifying and resolving design risks and buildability issues
Supporting value engineering and design development exercises
About You
Proven experience in a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator role
Background working on residential or mixed-use developments
Strong understanding of design management and construction processes
Experience coordinating external consultants and design teams
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Relevant construction or design qualifications preferred
