*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, managing medication therapy, and supporting the overall health and wellness of patients.
*Your Role:*
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough medication reviews to identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, or allergies.
- Provide expert medication counseling to patients, improving health outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized medication management plans.
- Administer immunizations and educate patients on preventive care.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing, record keeping, and inventory management.
- Participate in compounding medications as required by patient needs or prescriptions.
- Maintain exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships.
- Support acute care services as needed, particularly in pain management protocols.
*What We’re Looking For:*
✔ *Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree* from an accredited institution.
✔ *Active Pharmacist License* in the state of Washington.
✔ *Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a passion for patient care.*
✔ *Excellent communication and teamwork skills.*
✔ *Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.*
✔ *Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management.*
✔ *Experience supervising or training pharmacy technicians is a plus.*
✔ *Strong knowledge of inventory management practices within a pharmacy setting.*
✔ *Understanding of compounding medications and relevant regulations is beneficial.*
