Technical Quoting And Project Coordinator
Seeking an experienced professional to lead technical quoting and project coordination in a manufacturing environment, with strong preference for nuclear industry expertise. This role requires exceptional technical writing, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex drawings and compliance documentation. Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate quotations, proposals, and technical documentation. Interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and nuclear QA requirements. Support manufacturability reviews, engineering changes, and project planning. Build strong customer relationships and provide technical support during meetings. Collaborate across departments to manage multiple concurrent projects. Occasional travel for customer visits and industry events. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline/equivalent experience). Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing, sales engineering, quoting, or technical project management (10+ years preferred). Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with nuclear compliance frameworks (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1). Skills: Technical writing, cost modeling, risk analysis, and strong communication/organization. Core Competencies
Manufacturing process expertise (CNC machining, fabrication, engineering services). Proposal development and bid package preparation. Analytical costing and schedule planning. Relationship management and cross-functional collaboration. Job Type & Location
This is a permanent position based out of Chattanooga, TN. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr. PTO Holiday Medical, Dental, Vision Workplace Type
