Job Purpose:
CCSAI is looking for a student to work with our Marketing and Communications team to create visual content for all CCSAI Networks. The Engagement Staff: Graphic Design - Content Creator works with a team of professional staff to support Centennial students and the goals of the organization.
The types of design work can vary from promotional and live coverage of events, promotion of services and space, and a variety of social media content. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing and Communication team and other Engagement Staff Team members to create visual content.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, prepare, develop, and present designs that meet brand requirements and are visually appealing.
- Ensure final illustrations, logos and layouts are visually appealing, meet technical requirements and are on-brand for CCSAI channels.
- Adhere to best practices for content management in the design and uploading process.
- Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to brainstorm creative ideas and different methods to promote events, services & other initiatives of the CCSAI.
- Assist the Marketing & Communications team in developing and executing promotional campaigns and engagements for all CCSAI networks.
- Attends meetings and/or trainings that are scheduled throughout the term
- Support the Student Engagement & Supports department with other required duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience or education in Graphic Design is an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of design software, styles, and design theory.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to always be professional and respectful
Knowledge of the following platforms is an asset:
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

- SharePoint
- Dropbox
- Teamwork Project Management
- Microsoft Teams
- Outlook
- Microsoft Office Suite
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student for the current semester
- Demonstrate a good academic standing
- Must have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number (minimum 6 months to expiry)
- Available for up to 10 hours a week (Monday – Friday)
