Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a stable position in Colorado Springs, Colorado? We have an immediate opening for a dedicated professional to join our logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers, as well as transferring inventory within our warehouse. A strong emphasis on safety, adherence to operational procedures, and maintaining a clean work area are critical to success in this role. This position requires a reliable individual with a keen awareness of their surroundings and a commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods.
- Load and unload products from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Assist with order picking and packing when needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and PPE usage.
- Understand and practice safe Lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Keep the work area clean and free of obstructions.
