About
We are seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is vital for the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and general warehouse upkeep. You will contribute to efficient logistics by ensuring products are handled correctly and operations run smoothly. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders accurately.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining stock accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
- Contribute to team efforts to achieve daily operational goals.
- This role requires the ability to perform tasks involving manual labor, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting and moving of materials.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to learn and follow all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
