We are searching for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team in Miami, Florida. This position is integral to the maintenance and operational efficiency of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring smooth operations of our automated systems, and supporting the overall logistics infrastructure. Your technical skills will help prevent downtime and optimize workflow. A strong commitment to safety is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and racking systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and safely.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Support the operations team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Operate equipment safely, utilizing required PPE at all times.
- Tasks may involve moderate lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Experience with warehouse equipment and automated systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machinery.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines, and be able to handle tasks involving lifting .
