Sr. Technical Business Analyst Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Sr. Technical Business Analyst position for our client. Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration: Ongoing contract Duties: Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on Retail Back Office Systems. Evaluate new solutions and create detailed business and technical requirements for implementation and configuration. Analyze client business requirements to determine the most effective solution approach, including leveraging existing functionality or defining new features. Conduct interviews, workshops, and working sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and underlying objectives. Define and document project scope using sales artifacts, client inputs, and system knowledge, advocating for core product functionality to minimize customization. Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable product and system requirements, including edge cases and downstream impacts. Review and validate solution designs to ensure alignment with documented requirements. Oversee and review work performed by other Business Analysts on assigned projects. Manage and prioritize client backlogs, ensuring alignment with project milestones and delivery timelines. Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders. Support development teams during the build phase by clarifying requirements and resolving questions. Review, approve, and support execution of test cases and scenarios to validate business requirements. Identify, communicate, and manage scope changes, including conducting scope discussions with clients. Contribute to continuous improvement of Business Analysis practices through mentorship, best practices, and special initiatives. Travel up to 25%, as required. Skills: Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills Expertise in retail systems and back-office applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities Proven leadership, collaboration, and mentorship capabilities Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and methodologies Experience: 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst 5+ years of experience within the retail domain Hands-on experience working with software development and QA teams Demonstrated experience creating product and system documentation Experience managing backlogs and supporting Agile/Scrum projects Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience About CTG CTG, a Cegeka company, is at the forefront of digital transformation, providing IT and business solutions that accelerate project momentum and deliver desired value.
