Restaurant General Manager

Cerveau is hiring a General Manager to lead FOH operations, elevate service standards, and drive consistent execution nightly. This is a hands-on role for a true floor leader—someone who can build a strong team, run clean service, and own the business results (sales, labor, guest experience, and standards).

• 
  

  Own day-to-day restaurant operations: pre-shift, service execution, floor management, pacing, and guest recovery

• 
  

  Hire, train, coach, and retain a high-performing FOH team (hosts, servers, bartenders, support)

• 
  

  Build scheduling and staffing plans that hit labor targets without sacrificing hospitality

• 
  

  Implement and enforce steps of service, sidework standards, cash handling, comps/voids controls, and accountability

• 
  

  Partner with ownership/leadership to improve systems: opening/closing checklists, training materials, and service flow

• 
  

  Manage reservations and guest communications to maximize covers and protect the experience

• 
  

  Oversee beverage/FOH inventory controls, ordering, and vendor coordination (in collaboration with leadership)

• 
  

  Track KPIs and report weekly on performance: covers, check average, labor %, comps/voids, guest feedback, and issues requiring action

• 
  

  Drive private dining/to-go execution standards and help grow these revenue channels

• 
  

  3–5+ years as a GM (or strong AGM ready to step up) in a busy, full-service restaurant

• 
  

  Excellent floor presence—calm, decisive, and guest-first under pressure

• 
  

  Strong leadership and culture-building: training, accountability, and retention matter here

• 
  

  Comfortable managing labor, costs, and operational controls (P&L literacy is a big plus)

• 
  

  High standards for cleanliness, organization, communication, and consistency

• 
  

  POS + reservations platform experience (Toast/OpenTable/Resy experience a plus)
