Direct message the job poster from ACS Executive Sales Director – Global Technology & Solutions About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Sales or Commercial Leader to take ownership of a global sales function within a technology-led organisation. As Sales Director, you will oversee all commercial operations—including sales leadership, channel development, and customer relationship management—while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable revenue growth and expand market presence. You will shape and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy, develop new and complementary business channels, and lead market penetration efforts across both established and emerging territories. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic commercial decision-making, including long-term goal setting, growth opportunity identification, and major deal negotiation. Drive revenue expansion across new and existing accounts by identifying scalable opportunities. Develop targeted approaches for acquiring, retaining, and maximising value from key accounts. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global sales team across diverse regions and cultures. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine commercial strategy and maintain competitive advantage. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure commercial objectives align with broader business goals. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Champion CRM and sales enablement tools to support data-driven decision-making. Communicate customer insights and feedback to innovation teams to support product evolution. Location Home-based within the UK, with occasional travel to regional offices as required. Proven track record in commercial leadership roles within a relevant technology sector (e.g., hardware, software, security, or identification solutions). Strong business acumen with expertise across sales, marketing, and business development disciplines. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
