About
We are hiring Warehouse Workers to support our vital logistics operations in Washington, D.C. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the seamless flow of products through our facility. Responsibilities include general warehouse duties such as receiving, organizing stock, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. The successful candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. Safety is our top priority; therefore, you must consistently follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. This role offers a chance to develop skills in a dynamic logistics setting and be part of an essential service. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Receive, verify, and store inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all safety procedures and policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Perform any other assigned duties to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long hours.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Must understand and adhere to all safety requirements and the use of PPE.
