The Dixon Group is seeking a Sales Support Representative who is eager to learn our business from the ground up. This is a dynamic "hybrid" role designed for someone with a high level of technical curiosity. You will provide the critical administrative backbone for our current sales team while undergoing active mentorship and training to transition into a full-scale Sales role. What You'll Do: Assist in generating and managing sales quotes, ensuring accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery schedules. Process sales orders and maintain accurate and comprehensive records using the CRM and ERP systems. Address customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, and general information. Collaborate with Production and Logistics to provide timely updates. Prepare sales presentations, organize essential customer files, and assist the sales team with compiling weekly/monthly sales activity reports and forecasts. Maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) database by accurately logging customer interactions, updating contact information, and tracking sales pipeline activities. Coordinate the shipment and tracking of product samples to prospective customers. Actively seek out and cultivate a deep understanding of our manufacturing processes, product specifications, material science, and applications through collaboration with engineering and production teams. Assist in identifying and researching potential new clients, market trends, and competitive activities within the assigned territory or vertical. Shadow senior sales managers on sales calls, customer site visits, and trade shows to gain firsthand experience in B2B selling, negotiation, and relationship building. Assist with coordinate trade show displays and attend trade shows. Assist with product launches, product training, coordinating displays for the demonstration lab, and operate the loading simulation. Support initial lead qualification and perform outbound calls to pre-screen potential opportunities as directed by the sales manager. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area What We're Looking For: 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or administrative support role. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field Demonstrate continuous learning and initiative Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ERP systems is highly desirable. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
