Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/JavaScript) Salary:
£70,929 - £86,691 per annum
Locations:
Halifax, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester
Hours:
Full-time – 35 hours per week
Working Pattern:
Hybrid – at least two days per week at one of the above offices (40% of time).

What You’ll Be Doing
Design, develop, test, and deploy frontend and backend services.
Build and deploy containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
Apply Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and Test‑Driven Development (TDD) principles.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Quality Engineers.
Integrate with internal systems and third‑party APIs to create seamless user experiences.
Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape our engineering strategy.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and inclusion.
What You’ll Need Backend Development
Hands‑on experience with Java, designing and implementing RESTful APIs that support scalable, secure, and high‑performance architectures.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot and Node.js is beneficial.
Frontend Development
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for building modern, responsive user interfaces.
Experience with frameworks and libraries such as React, Next.js, Redux, Vue.js, or Angular is highly desirable.
DevOps & Cloud
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
Familiarity with Docker for containerisation and Kubernetes for orchestration.
Exposure to cloud platforms – Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred, but AWS or Azure experience is also welcome.
Quality Testing & Automation
Experience with automated testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or Pact.
Commitment to writing reliable, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
