We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all machinery operates at peak performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on forklifts, conveyor systems, and other warehouse machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all equipment is operating in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse management team to identify areas for improvement in operational processes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Perform tasks that involve moderate to heavy Lifting , often exceeding 50 pounds.
- Support overall Logistics operations by ensuring equipment reliability.
- Uphold a strong commitment to workplace Safety and security.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. Experience in a warehouse or industrial maintenance setting is highly desirable. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the smooth flow of our operations.
