We are looking for dependable Warehouse Associates to contribute to our logistics operations in Seattle, Washington. This role involves a comprehensive range of warehouse duties, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. You will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our supply chain. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to upholding a safe and organized work environment. We emphasize teamwork and encourage associates to take initiative in maintaining operational excellence. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adherence to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, are expected. Your role is fundamental to our company's success in serving our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately put away incoming shipments.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification required for forklifts).
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counting to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE as designated for specific tasks and areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet productivity goals.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies to management.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of warehouse safety principles and practices.
- Willingness to learn and operate different types of warehouse equipment.
