Job Summary:
Are you a proven leader with experience in warehouse management? Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead our dedicated warehouse team. This critical role involves managing staff, optimizing workflow, ensuring productivity, and upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency within our logistics center. You will be responsible for training, motivating, and evaluating warehouse associates, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential. We expect our supervisors to champion safety, ensuring all team members understand and utilize the required PPE. This is a key leadership position within our expanding logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
  • Enforce all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring the proper use of PPE.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards.
  • Coordinate with logistics, shipping, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics management.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
