About
Seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and optimize operations at our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, implementing safety procedures, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A key focus will be on enhancing the overall efficiency of our logistics operations while ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in warehouse management, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse best practices. You will play a critical role in managing resources, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Join our dedicated team and contribute to the success of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage and coordinate warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics partners.
- Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Resolve any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry standards.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
