We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. You will perform regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement procedures to minimize stockouts and overages. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. A commitment to Safety and accuracy is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify items needing replenishment or adjustment.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials to prevent damage and loss.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and ensure proper handling of materials.
- May involve occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs for stock adjustments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of Safety procedures related to inventory handling.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with PPE usage is expected.
