Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating with shipping and receiving departments, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Plan and assign tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Implement and maintain efficient warehouse management systems and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, verifying the accuracy of shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Train new warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with other departments and external partners to facilitate smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar logistics role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to enforce them.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
