Become a vital part of our operations as a Warehouse Associate in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is integral to our supply chain management, ensuring that goods are processed efficiently and accurately within our facility. You'll be involved in a wide range of warehouse activities, from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials accurately.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Read production schedules, customer orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked, packed, or assembled.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, meeting productivity goals.
- Prepare and stage orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all warehouse Safety standards.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with regular stocktaking.
- Ensure all Safety regulations are followed, including the use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or Safety hazards to management immediately.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Must be capable of sustained physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
