Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of goods within our warehouse facility. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and the timely fulfillment of orders. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring all shipments are accurate and undamaged.
  • Move materials from receiving areas to storage locations and throughout the warehouse.
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to picking lists and instructions.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must be comfortable with heavy Lifting, often exceeding 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
