Join our thriving team as a Distribution Center Associate in Miami, Florida! We are looking for dedicated individuals to support the efficient operations of our distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Your contribution is vital to our logistics success and ensures that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory in designated locations within the distribution center.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and support inventory management initiatives.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and relevant logistics standards.
- Wear all mandated PPE correctly and consistently throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent understanding of workplace safety and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
