Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Seattle, Washington. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for inventory management, scheduling shipments, coordinating with transport teams, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in warehouse management or a related logistics field. We are committed to providing a secure and productive workplace, emphasizing the importance of proper PPE and safe lifting techniques.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Ensure all warehouse staff adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts if certified.
  • Assist with training new warehouse personnel on procedures and safety protocols.
  • Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Generate reports on warehouse productivity, inventory levels, and shipping status.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and WMS software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and experience with PPE.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
