Our growing company in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team. This position is vital for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and our warehouse operations are efficient. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking inventory movements, performing audits, and reconciling discrepancies. Responsibilities:
- Accurately recording inventory levels and movements in the warehouse management system.
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Receiving and processing incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Organizing and maintaining warehouse stock for easy accessibility.
- Generating inventory reports for management.
- Collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving and shipping.
- Ensuring a clean and organized stockroom environment.
- Adhering to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Excel).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
