Are you a proven leader with a passion for operational efficiency? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and adherence to all Safety protocols. You will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing workflow, and supervising warehouse staff to achieve performance targets. A key aspect of this role involves promoting a culture of safety, ensuring all team members are trained and utilize proper PPE . This position requires a solid understanding of Logistics and supply chain management, as well as the ability to motivate and guide a team. You will also be involved in training new staff on operational procedures and best practices, including safe manual handling techniques which may involve occasional significant Lifting . We are looking for someone who can drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards in a demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with Safety regulations and company policies, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff.
- Optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety procedures.
- Manage staff schedules and workload distribution.
- Contribute to strategic planning for warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse procedures and Logistics .
- Excellent understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to train and motivate staff.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in handling equipment and processes that may involve considerable Lifting .
- Proficiency in ensuring adherence to PPE requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
