We are seeking a motivated and dependable Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Miami, Florida. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and organization of goods. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for various tasks including loading and unloading trucks, moving materials within the warehouse, and maintaining an organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders accurately.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
