About
We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our Salt Lake City, Utah team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately documenting and processing all incoming shipments. Your duties will include verifying delivery contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and entering data into our inventory system. This position is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that all received goods are accounted for correctly and promptly integrated into our inventory. A strong focus on Safety and accuracy is required. You will be working in a warehouse environment and may be involved in some Lifting of goods. Strict adherence to company Safety policies and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Verify contents of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming goods for any damage or discrepancies.
- Document all received items, noting any issues.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Stage received goods for appropriate departments or storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or data entry is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computers and basic data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
