About
We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our Fort Worth, Texas warehouse! This vital role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. The ideal candidate will be proficient in inventory management software and committed to upholding rigorous Safety standards. Your role is crucial in minimizing inventory loss and optimizing stock levels. This position involves some Lifting and requires strict adherence to all company Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and production teams regarding inventory levels.
- Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
- Generate inventory reports and provide analysis to management.
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of inventory storage areas.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and use required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory best practices.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting.
- Understanding of Safety procedures within a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
