Join our team in Boston, Massachusetts as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to manage the safe and efficient operation of forklifts within our busy warehouse. Your primary duties will involve moving, stacking, and retrieving materials, contributing significantly to our logistics and inventory management processes. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace Safety and operational excellence. You will conduct daily inspections of your equipment and report any issues promptly. This role demands physical capability for consistent Lifting and a rigorous commitment to following all Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). If you possess a strong work ethic, excellent operational skills, and a dedication to a safe working environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload shipments accurately and safely.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any malfunctions.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock placement.
- Ensure that all materials are handled and stored in a secure and organized manner.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and safe operating practices.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting as required.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
- Must comply with all PPE requirements.
