About
Join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Shipping Clerk and contribute to the seamless dispatch of our products. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, proper packaging, and timely dispatch. You will work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate outgoing freight and maintain efficient shipping operations. This role is critical to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order details against shipping documents.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation, including bills of lading.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup schedules and delivery confirmations.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet jacks and shrink wrap machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct daily checks of shipping supplies and replenish as needed.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and ensure accurate shipping records.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and shipping best practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper handling of materials.
- Basic computer skills.
- Availability to work required shifts, including potential overtime.
