We are seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. Your responsibilities will include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and stocking incoming inventory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and security.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and wearing required PPE .
