Our Los Angeles, California facility is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our **logistics** team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around our distribution center. Your expertise in safely and efficiently handling inventory is critical to maintaining our operational flow and ensuring goods are transported securely. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, precision, and a strong commitment to **safety**. You must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one promptly. Responsibilities also include performing routine inspections of equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy through proper movement and placement, and assisting with general warehouse duties when needed. Significant **lifting** and maneuvering of heavy items will be part of the job, requiring physical stamina and competence. All employees are expected to rigorously follow **safety** procedures and utilize all required **PPE** at all times. Experience with various types of forklifts is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Perform daily **safety** checks and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and locating items.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and wear required **PPE**.
- Engage in **lifting** of palletized goods and other heavy items.
- Support the overall **logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions immediately.
