Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Omaha, Nebraska, and contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including consistent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
