We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work with various materials and products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. Your contribution is key to our logistics success and customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick products to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch and coordinate with transportation services.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to ensure efficient operations and safety.
- Support the broader logistics and supply chain functions of the company.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of performing tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
- Reliable and able to work assigned shifts.
