About
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician in Omaha, Nebraska, to support the maintenance and operational integrity of our warehouse facility. This role is critical for ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and that our warehouse adheres to the highest Safety standards. The Warehouse Technician will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with the installation and repair of warehouse systems. This is a vital position within our logistics infrastructure, requiring a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and a commitment to Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and racking systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular Safety inspections of the facility and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Ensure proper use and care of all tools and equipment.
- Follow strict protocols for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
- Support the logistics team by minimizing equipment downtime.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Warehouse Technician, or in a similar technical role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of Safety procedures and regulations in an industrial setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
