As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, sorting, and organizing various materials and products to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from designated areas using forklifts or other equipment, and assisting with inventory management. You will play a key part in maintaining an organized and accessible stockroom, ensuring that materials are readily available for production or shipment. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and equipment operation is highly beneficial. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting , pushing, and pulling of heavy items. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from production or storage areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Sort, organize, and stack materials according to warehouse procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient Logistics .
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
