Job Summary:
Join our growing team in Miami, Florida as an Inventory Control Specialist! We are seeking an individual with exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to manage and maintain the integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our stock levels are accurate, optimizing storage, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing best practices for inventory management. Safety is paramount in our operations, so adherence to all safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately track and manage inventory levels using our WMS.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Monitor inventory for damage or expiration and take appropriate action.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, turnover, and shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Train new staff on inventory control procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
