Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods into our facility. You will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments, ensuring that inventory levels are correctly updated and that goods are ready for internal distribution or storage. Key duties include verifying quantities and quality of received items, identifying damages or discrepancies, and accurately documenting all received products. A meticulous approach and strong organizational skills are vital for success. We are committed to maintaining a secure and efficient workplace, prioritizing Safety through comprehensive training and the provision of necessary PPE . This role involves some physical work, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and contributes directly to the accuracy of our Logistics inventory.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
  • Inspect all incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Verify received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Accurately record received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Tag and label incoming products as required.
  • Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Follow all established Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding receiving issues.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate flow of goods into the warehouse Logistics system.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, especially inventory management software.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE .
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
