Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in San Francisco, California? We are seeking a skilled individual to manage the movement and organization of materials within our busy distribution center. This role is essential to our logistics network, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are efficiently handled, stored, and ready for distribution. You will be responsible for operating various equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding a safe working environment. A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail are crucial for success in this demanding position. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through proper tracking and documentation.
  • Ensure materials are stored in designated locations and organized for easy access.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including the use of PPE and proper lifting techniques.
  • Inspect equipment regularly for proper functioning and report any issues.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency in all logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Excellent understanding of safety procedures and the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
