About
Our Houston, Texas location is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our expanding logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence. This position involves considerable physical activity and requires a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be a key contributor to our supply chain, ensuring products move smoothly through our distribution network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves and into appropriate storage areas.
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders using scanning technology or pick sheets.
- Package finished goods securely for transit, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety standards and guidelines.
- Consistently wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics processes is advantageous.
