Seeking a reliable and organized Receiving Clerk for our busy warehouse in Miami, Florida. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods, ensuring that deliveries are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. Your duties will include unloading shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, verifying received items against purchase orders, and entering data into our inventory system. A keen eye for detail and accuracy is crucial in this role to maintain the integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly receiving area and assisting with the stocking of received merchandise. Understanding basic logistics and warehouse operations is helpful. Safety is paramount in this position; you will be trained on and must adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role may involve moderate Lifting of packages, so physical stamina is important. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve any issues related to incoming shipments. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks
- Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies
- Verify received items against purchase orders or packing slips
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system
- Tag and prepare goods for stocking
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
- Communicate with vendors and internal staff regarding deliveries
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear required PPE
- Assist with putting away stock
- Ensure accuracy in all receiving processes
