We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in the heart of New York City, New York. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our facility, supporting our overall logistics operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics operations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
