Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with incoming inventory, ensuring proper placement.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including work areas and aisles.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, consistently wearing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals in our logistics setting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety standards and wear appropriate PPE (e.g., safety shoes, gloves, glasses).
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
