Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, general warehouse duties, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. You will be trained on proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Responsibilities:
  • Unload and receive incoming inventory.
  • Sort, stock, and organize products within the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
  • Prepare shipments for outbound logistics.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform frequent physical tasks, including Lifting heavy objects.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
