Linux SW and HW Engineer/Expert (m/f/d)

EINFÜHRUNG: As a preferred supplier for Roche Rotkreuz, we are looking for a motivated individual as Linux SW and HW Engineer/Expert (m/f/d) full /part-time (80-100%) with a 1-year duration and the possibility of extentsion. The start date is asap or at the latest 01.01.2025. Home Office: possible and needs to be discussed. Onsite 40% is a must. AUFGABENBESCHREIBUNG: Contribute to Medical Instrument / Software Development Projects with technical knowhow Development and maintenance of in-house linux distribution and open source tools Linux Software and Hardware troubleshooting, debugging and root-cause analysis ERFORDERLICHES PROFIL: Master in SW Engineering or other degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (min. 3 years) More than 5 years of experience as a Senior Linux Software Engineer +5 years experience in developing customized Linux distributions +5 years experience with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu) Experience in Embedded Software, Hardware Drivers, ARM Platform, hardware / software integration Development experience with C/C++, Python, Go, Web technologies, Shell Scripting Strong knowledge in Operating Systems and Software building, testing, packaging Team player with a “can do” attitude, quick learner, enjoying problem solving, ability to work independently English: advanced, ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences Nice to Have: Experience in Virtualization / Container technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines Debian package building German: not necessarily needed Application process Interested?
