Saverne is a wood-fired modern brasserie from Gabriel Kreuther, the celebrated chef of his two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Bryant Park. Opening this winter at The Spiral in Hudson Yards, Saverne reflects refined craftsmanship, seasonal ingredients, and disciplined execution across every course—including pastry.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our opening Back-of-House team. This role is ideal for a cook with strong fundamentals, excellent organization, and a deep respect for mise en place, consistency, and presentation.

Requirements
  • Prior professional pastry or baking experience

  • Strong mise en place and time-management skills

  • Knowledge of basic pastry techniques and doughs

  • Ability to follow recipes and standards precisely

  • Fine-dining or Michelin-level experience preferred

Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily pastry mise en place and components

  • Execute desserts with consistency and attention to detail

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards

  • Support service and production needs as directed
