Saverne is a wood-fired modern brasserie from Gabriel Kreuther, the celebrated chef of his two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Bryant Park. Opening this winter at The Spiral in Hudson Yards, Saverne reflects refined craftsmanship, seasonal ingredients, and disciplined execution across every course—including pastry.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our opening Back-of-House team. This role is ideal for a cook with strong fundamentals, excellent organization, and a deep respect for mise en place, consistency, and presentation.
RequirementsPrior professional pastry or baking experience
Strong mise en place and time-management skills
Knowledge of basic pastry techniques and doughs
Ability to follow recipes and standards precisely
Fine-dining or Michelin-level experience preferred
Prepare daily pastry mise en place and components
Execute desserts with consistency and attention to detail
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
Support service and production needs as directed
