• Location: Clark Franklin - 1551 Franklin Street Southeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49506. Online applications accepted only.

Summary: Prepares food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.

Cleanliness and maintenance are key components of this role. The candidate must be able to maintain a clean kitchen after preparation and serving, and store excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.

• Previous cook experience preferred.
• The ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• A commitment to maintaining good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• The capability to perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
