Saverne is a wood-fired modern brasserie from Gabriel Kreuther, the celebrated chef of his two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Bryant Park. Opening this winter at The Spiral in Hudson Yards, Saverne is rooted in craftsmanship, seasonal ingredients, and disciplined execution across every course.
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our opening Back-of-House team. This role is ideal for a focused, organized pastry professional with strong technical foundations, leadership presence, and a deep respect for mise en place, precision, and consistency. Fine-dining or Michelin-level experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements3+ years of professional pastry experience
Prior experience as a Pastry CDP or senior pastry cook
Strong knowledge of classic pastry techniques and production
Excellent mise en place, organization, and time management
Ability to lead a station and support junior pastry cooks
Own and execute the pastry station with consistency and quality
Lead daily mise en place and service execution
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards
Collaborate with chefs on production and service needs
Mentor and support pastry team members
Full-time position with consistent scheduling
