About
We are seeking an experienced Culinary Leader to join our team at TD Garden in Boston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead a high-volume kitchen team, ensuring production efficiency and adherence to culinary standards.
- Talent Development: Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring team members, fostering a cohesive work environment.
- Operations Management: Support food and labor cost management, prepare schedules, oversee inventory control, and manage ordering processes.
- Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized kitchen that complies with state and local health department regulations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of culinary experience with previous management responsibilities in large production kitchens or high-volume food and beverage operations.
- Exceptional skills in high-volume cooking, food presentation, and precise recipe adherence, with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams.
- Knowledge of best practices for monitoring food and labor costs, menu development, costing, ordering, inventory, and food safety and sanitation.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to obtain certifications such as ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures.
