Join our thriving distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Warehouse Associate. This pivotal role supports the smooth operation of our logistics network by handling various warehouse tasks. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. This position is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for loading, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and proficiently (training provided for those without experience but willing to learn).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 60 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
